Evolve: Is a newly commissioned Health and Wellbeing Service for residents of Brent who are under 25, commissioned by Brent Council. This service, provided jointly between Young Addaction and SHoC offers advice, support and early intervention to young people about drug use, sexual health, and general wellbeing. This is an education project that aims to create, design and deliver health and well being educational resources, and a peer mentoring programme, targeting young people under 25 who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, have been excluded from mainstream education, or have been referred from social care services, education and youth offending teams. Jaheda Ali, R Project Peer Education Project and Mala Morjaria, Brent Council Children and Families - Looked After Children have been shortlisted for the JLS young person of the year award (Jaheda) and Sexual health professional of the year award 2013 (Mala).
